This immersive half-day culinary journey offers two flexible start times: a morning session at 8:30 am or an afternoon session at 1:00 pm. Your private guide and chauffeur will greet you at your Chengdu hotel and provide a comfortable transfer to the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, the world's only museum dedicated to a local culinary culture.
Upon arrival, your sensory journey begins at the tourist center, where you can sample a variety of famous local Sichuan snacks. Your guide will then lead you through a curated exploration of the Classic Collection Hall, the Raw Material & Tool Display Area, and the Kitchen God Ancestral Hall, offering deep insights into the history and philosophy of Sichuanese flavors.
The highlight of the day is a hands-on masterclass led by a professional chef. You will be guided through the precise techniques of traditional Sichuan cooking, including specialized ingredient cutting, wok mastery, and the art of dish presentation for three quintessential local recipes. Finally, sit down to savor the authentic dishes you have created, accompanied by complimentary fresh fruit, juice, and traditional tea. At the conclusion of your experience, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Chengdu.
