Your professional hiking guide and private driver will meet you at your hotel lobby. As we escape the city bustle, enjoy a comfortable 2.5-hour drive through the scenic mountain outskirts of Beijing. During the journey, your guide will provide a deep historical briefing on the Great Wall's strategic importance, preparing you for the ancient stones you are about to tread upon.

10:00 | Setting Foot on Gubeikou (The Unrestored Path)

Our hike commences at the Gubeikou section in Miyun County. Unlike the manicured tourist spots, Gubeikou remains a "Wild Wall" sanctuary. Though designated as a park, it is completely unrestored, offering a visceral connection to the Ming Dynasty.

• Architecture in Ruins: This section is home to over 140 watchtowers, each uniquely designed and standing in various states of evocative decay.

• The Stone Dragon: From your first vantage point, you will see the Wall twisting and winding with serpentine grace along the knife-edge ridges of the steep mountain ranges.

• The Experience: This is the quietest part of the trek, where the only sound is the rustle of nature, allowing you to absorb the true scale of this ancient military wonder before we head toward the majestic towers of Jinshanling.

5. Price Exclusions: Please note that the tour price excludes international airfare, unmentioned domestic flights, visa processing fees, stamping fees, and related embassy charges. It also does not cover personal travel insurance, laundry, telephone calls, or other expenses of a personal nature, as well as any meals, snacks, beverages, activities, or services not explicitly stated in the tour program. Gratuities for local guides, drivers, hotel porters, and restaurant staff are left to your discretion. Furthermore, tour prices are based on twin-sharing occupancy; if you are traveling solo, we will arrange for you to share a twin room with another traveler of the same sex in most cases, but should you prefer a private room, a Single Room Supplement will apply based on your specific travel dates.
