Shibaozhai Pagoda is a 400-year-old temple built partway into the cliff. It is one of the few remaining wooden structures in China and has been called "one of the eight strangest buildings in the world."
Fengdu Ghost City is said to be the place where people's souls go after they die. As one of the most popular site for the Yangtze River Cruise, it is the only place to show others the Chinese culture of the afterlife. This area gathers the cultures and customs of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism.

Today, the cruise will sail through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is only 8 kilometers but is famous for its magnificence. While Wu Gorge is 45 kilometers long, known for its deep and serene scenes. You will see the zigzags, weird peaks, and rising mists when passing through the gorge.
In the afternoon, you will take a side excursion on smaller boats to the Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream or Goddess Stream. As the ship disembarks at Maoping Port in Xiling Gorge, transfer to the Three Gorges Dam by coach. It will allow you to see the largest and the most complicated hydropower project worldwide.
