Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Upon your arrival at Hanoi airport, your tour guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi

In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and start your tour in Hanoi from the beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of West Lake. It is full of amazing Buddhist symbolism for travelers to learn about.

Then, drive to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. It is the final resting place of the Vietnamese great father, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house. After that, you will transfer to One Pillar Pagoda. It is designed to resemble a lotus blossom rising out of a sea of sorrow. The next destination is the Temple of Literature, the first college in Vietnam.

In the afternoon, you can choose either the History Museum or Ethnology Museum to visit. Then, drive to appreciate Hoan Kiem Lake and take a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter.

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise

In the morning, your tour guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to Halong Bay. You will check into your private cabin and start the cruise. In the afternoon, you will discover some of the treasures spread across the Bay of the Descending Dragon with fascinating caves, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, and splendid rock formations rising up out of the emerald water. Besides, you can also enjoy some optional activities such as kayaking, swimming, cooking class, etc.

Day 4: Halong Bay Cruise, Fly to Danang / Hoi An

In the early morning, you can learn the ancient art of Tai Chi on the sundeck. The cruise will continue till you disembark in Halong City around noon. You will move back to Hanoi for your flight to Danang. On arrival in Danang, you will meet your local tour guide and transfer to the hotel in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An

In the morning, travel to the My Son Holy Land with serene views. And the rest time is for you to explore Hoi An Ancient Town, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the beautiful Chinese Assembly Halls, and the local market. Then, take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to visit a village of woodworkers and boat-building families on Cam Kim Island and Thanh Ha pottery village.

At the end of this day, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 6: Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, you will be escorted to take the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, your tour guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning after your breakfast, you will be escorted to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. There you will be able to experience these amazing systems developed by the guerrillas fighting in the Vietnam War. Get to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems that include the special constructed living areas like kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.

In the afternoon, you will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh Market, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap and Half Day Tonle Sap Lake

In the morning after breakfast, you will transfer to Siem Reap by flight. Upon arrival, your tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Siem Reap to check in.

In the afternoon, you will visit the largest lake in Southeast Asia, the Tonle Sap Lake. Take a boat ride to Kampong Phluck and see the mangrove forests nearby.

Day 9: Ancient Angkor Thom Capital

After breakfast, start your tour to the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom.

First, you will visit Ta Prohm Temple, which can date back to the 12th and 13th centuries. After Ta Prohm fell into disrepair after the fall of the Khmer Empire in the 15th century, it was swallowed up by the Cambodian jungle. The enormous tree roots snaking across crumbling stone walls, and ancient trees towering overhead makes this temple beautiful and mysterious.

After lunch, continue to visit Banteay Kdei ("Citadel of Chambers"). And visit Victory Gate, Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace, Baphuon, and Bayon. Sits n the heart of the ancient city of Angkor Thom, Bayon is one of the must-visit sites for every visitor to Angkor.

In the late afternoon, you will get to the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Day 10: Sunrise at Angkor Wat and Explore Angkor Wat

In the early morning, you will be transferred to Angkor Wat Temple to witness one of the most amazing sunrises in the world. There will be a picnic breakfast prepared for you after sunrise.

After breakfast, continue to explore the whole temple with your tour guide. You will get to learn some stories and legends of this ancient kingdom.
